Hello everyone and welcome to JordanGrigor.com!

Since I was 19, I’ve lived a pretty exciting life. I’ve been lucky enough to spend quite a lot of time in the Arctic, living there and learning about a pretty amazing ecosystem. My bachelor degree is in Marine Science with Arctic Studies (with honors), from the Scottish Association for Marine Science (Oban, Scotland) and the University Centre in Svalbard (Svalbard, Norway), my master degree is in Climate Change: Impacts & Mitigation from Heriot-Watt University (Edinburgh, Scotland), and my PhD degree is in Oceanography from Université Laval (Quebec City, Canada). I now teach science courses, as a postdoctoral instructor, at Vanderbilt University (Nashville, USA),
I have a passion for marine life, and for polar marine life in particular.
The pages on this site contain blog posts I have written since 2012, with a focus on both my personal life and my professional life.
Welcome! 🙂
